A rental day is a block of hours

The waiver is a line, not a courtesy

Is the delivery fee negotiable?
Sometimes, particularly if the yard already runs a truck to your area that week or you are hiring more than one machine. It is rarely waived outright, because the cost is real. Hiring several items on one delivery is the reliable way to reduce it.
What happens if I keep the lift longer than booked?
The hire simply continues at the agreed rate, but tell the yard rather than letting the collection fail, because a wasted truck is chargeable. Where the extension takes you past a week or a month boundary, ask for the longer rate to be applied rather than the days stacking up.
Does the price include a harness?
Not usually. Harnesses and lanyards are a separate small hire or a purchase at the counter, and yards keep them because customers arrive without. On a scissor with a guarded platform the requirement differs from a boom, so check the manual on the machine and your site rules.
