Weight class moves the price more than the badge

A one to two tonne machine reaches roughly six to eight feet, and a three to four tonne machine ten to twelve. Manufacturers quote maximum depth with the boom at full stretch, which is not a working depth on a sloped or soft site, so size up if the trench is at the limit.
Does the rental price include delivery?
Rarely. Transport is quoted per round trip and depends on the distance from the yard, so two yards with identical day rates can differ by a hundred dollars once the truck is priced. Ask for the rate and the haul together.
