A truck rated at 15,000 lb carries that at a stated load centre, usually 24 in from the face of the forks. A long or deep load moves its centre of gravity outward and the safe rating drops, sometimes by a third. Bring the load dimensions to the yard, not just the weight, or you will hire a machine that derates below the job.
Tyres, ground and where it can actually work
Machines this size run pneumatic tyres for yards and rough hardstanding, not cushion tyres for smooth slabs. They need width to turn, headroom for the mast and ground that carries their own weight plus the load. Indoors is rarely an option: the exhaust and the turning circle both argue against it.
